The Mercatini di Natale in Cagliari are a beloved annual event that transforms the city into a festive marketplace, featuring local artisans, food vendors, and holiday-themed activities. Organized in the heart of the city, the markets are a key attraction for both locals and visitors, offering a vibrant celebration of Sardinian tradition and Christmas spirit.

For two consecutive years, I was commissioned by FITE Group to design the posters for the event. Each edition presented an opportunity to explore different creative approaches, resulting in distinct designs for 2022 and 2023. While I’m proud of both, the 2023 edition holds a special place for me, as it reflects my personal design aesthetic.

For the 2023 poster, I embraced a minimalistic approach, using simple Christmas symbols, reminiscent of a knitted holiday sweater. This clean, understated style felt like a natural extension of my own creative vision—something I would design for myself if given the chance. The result was a cohesive, elegant poster that captured the festive spirit while maintaining a refined, modern look.
