The Festival dell’Organetto was held as part of the larger Autunno in Barbagia series, celebrating the cultural traditions of Sardinia. This event, hosted in Onanì, featured performances by tenores (traditional Sardinian vocal groups) and organetto players, showcasing the deep-rooted musical heritage of the region.
I was initially tasked with creating the visual identity for the 2023 edition, blending the two key elements—tenores and the organetto. The poster design abstracted and stylized a group of tenores alongside an organetto, merging the two in a minimalist layout framed by rectangles and lines. The color palette was carefully selected to evoke the traditional attire of Onanì, ensuring that the visual identity remained connected to local culture while maintaining a clean and modern aesthetic.
In 2024, I was commissioned again for the second edition. The client explicitly requested to maintain the same visual identity as the previous year but with a refreshed look through the introduction of a new color palette. Drawing inspiration once again from the traditional attire of Onanì, I introduced a new set of colors while incorporating a stylized reproduction of a fabric frame, typical of Sardinian craftsmanship, adding depth and cultural authenticity to the refreshed design.
This project allowed me to interpret the unique characteristics of the festival and translate them into a cohesive and culturally resonant brand identity, successfully evolving it for the 2024 edition.
